Pay Up Now! – sign the petition and keep the pressure on MPs as we count down to the parliamentary debate.

Pay Up Now! campaign logo.

MPs will debate the 1% cap on pay rises for our members providing vital public services in a Westminster Hall debate on 4 December.

The debate is taking place because of UNISON’s parliamentary petition on the issue. This is online at petition.parliament.uk/petitions/200032 and has been signed by 146,000 people.

But we need to keep the pressure on MPs and on those who will be responsible for responding to our members’ pay claims, whether in health, local government, police and justice staff, education or anywhere else.

So please sign the petition on the parliamentary website today and share the latest Pay Up Now! campaign film below which satirises the government’s habit of offering public service workers pats on the back. This film has so far been seen by over 1.5m people. Can you help to make it two million?
