Southend UNISON members joined over 200 people for the Basildon Pride March at the weekend. The march was called at short notice in response to an anti-homosexual group which has been ‘preaching hate’ outside Basildon’s LGBT club, Colors, as well as distributing homophobic leaflets in the area.
