Black History Month Event Wednesday 30th October
12:30 – 14:00 at Southend Civic Centre
Join us to mark Black History Month 2019. There will be great speakers including a keynote presentation by Sharon Caesar, whose sister was one of t
he victims of the Windrush scandal and who has campaigned on this issue.
We will have stalls from local and national organisations, as well as refreshments a film screening and live music.
The event is open to all and has been jointly organised by UNISON and Southend Council’s BAME Staff Forum.
