On Friday 23rd November we celebrated Stars In Our Schools at Thorpedene Primary. Stars in Our Schools is an annual celebration that highlights how vital school support staff are to our children’s education.

As a new UNISON rep, this was an amazing opportunity to network amongst our members and to surprise and thank everyone with a little gift bag and some delicious cakes.

Caron and I want to say a huge thank you again to all the wonderful unsung heroes working behind the scenes to support the children at Thorpedene Primary School – most come in early and leave late supporting not only the children but also each other and the wider community.
